Agnes B. Richmer Agnes B. Richmer, 89, Lanesville, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. She was born August 3, 1929 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana the daughter of Ferdinand and Myrtle Hanka Receveur. She was a homemaker and a 65 year member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Forrest G. Richmer and three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by four sons, Dennis Richmer (Louise) of Georgetown, IN, Larry Richmer (LuAnn) of Sellersburg, IN, Dale Richmer (Pamela) of Madison, IN and Alan Richmer of Lanesville, IN; three daughters, Linda Poliskie of Jeffersonville, IN, Carol Richmer of Georgetown, IN and Jean Wills (Larry) of Lanesville, IN; one brother, Cletus Receveur of Sellersburg, IN, two sisters, Evelyn Graf of Memphis, IN and Doris Klein of Floyds Knobs, IN; 11 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville. Father Louis Manna will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. There will be a Rosary Service on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. also at the funeral home in Georgetown.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gifts be made to either Mass of the Air at The Archdiocese of Louisville PO Box 32533 Louisville, KY 40232-2533 or to WHAS Crusade for Children at 520 W. Chestnut St. Louisville, KY 40202.
