Anita Charlene (Eurton) Wade, 91, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Monday morning, October 23, 2017. She was a proud homemaker and enjoyed farming alongside her late husband, Wallace. Anita was a member of Chapel Hill Christian Church and absolutely adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She will also be remembered for her love of visiting the casino boat or traveling to Las Vegas to try her luck at gambling.
Anita was born on March 6, 1926 in Borden, Indiana to the late Harry and Lillian (Wright) Eurton. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Colman Wade; grandson, Justin Wallace Wade; and her five siblings.
She is survived by her children, Dwight Wade (Debbie Harper), Gary Wade (Darita), Larry Wade, and Sandra "Sis" Koetter (Randy); nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2016 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at The Forest Discovery Center (533 Louis Smith Rd, Borden, IN 47106) and on Saturday after 9 a.m. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at The Forest Discovery Center with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.
