Annabelle's Story

Annabelle Rozetta Williams, 90, passed away on Thursday February 22, 2018 at The Villages of Silvercrest. She was the former Annabelle Purlee, born in Salem, Indiana, a former bookkeeper for the New Albany Floyd County School Corporation and a member of Culbertson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 70 years, Donald M. Williams, her parents: Eston Cleo and Leona Purlee, and a brother Knoefel Purlee.
Annabelle was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her daughters, Teresa Sponcil and Karen Brown (Tom); grandchildren, Evan Brown (Katelyn), Susan Ward (Troy), Scott Walters (Kristin), Alison Davis (Trey), Jenny Adams (Rich) and John Sponcil (Andrea); great-grandchildren Avery, Sarah, Ethan, Caylin, Chase, Caiden, Cameron, Taylor, Ian, Fox, Tylan and Kahler; and two sisters-in-law Dolores Purlee and Marjorie Ebert.
A funeral service celebrating Annabelle's life will be at 2 p.m. Monday February 26, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville (1119 E. Market St.) with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1 - 6 p.m. Sunday and from 1 - 2 p.m. Monday before service.
