Benjamin's Story

Benjamin Franklin Weddle, 83 of Marysville, IN passed away on February 18, 2017 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
He was born on July 17, 1933 in Clark County, IN to John M. and Georgia Phillippi Weddle. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a retired employee of the old Armour Meat Packing Co. in Louisville, KY.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley F. Weddle; sisters, Clara and Grace Franklin; brothers, John Lewis Weddle and Albert Weddle.
Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Laxton (Scotty) of Charlestown, IN; sons, Brent Weddle of Marysville and Barry Weddle (Mary) of Bethlehem, IN; grandchildren, Mandy Whitt, Daniel Laxton, Michael Weddle, Candace Weddle Matthews and Brandon Weddle; great grandchildren, Brittany, Kaitlyn and Tyler Whitt, Bethany Amburgey, Skylar Cochran and Lexie Finchum.
Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday and after 9 am on Wednesday.
