Betty's Story

BETTY G. PEARL, 83, passed away peacefully Friday March 3, 2017 at the Autumn Woods Health Campus. She was the former Betty McKenney, born in Donerail, Kentucky and was a retired Unit Secretary for Floyd Memorial Hospital. Betty was a member of the Red Hat Society and she was a Professional Clown for many years. She was a member of Culbertson Baptist Church and attended Northside Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: J. Howard Pearl, a daughter: Connie Sue Wood and her parents: Corlis and Amizetta McKenney.
The family would especially like to thank the many caregivers at the Autumn Woods Health Campus and Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
Survivors include:
5 daughters: Cynthia Gail McCurdy(Greg), Kathy Huncilman(Gordie), Cynthia Pearl, Karen Langdon-Garr(Mark), and Kimberlee Moolhuysen(Dale),
1 son: Jeffrey Pearl(Amy), 1 Sister: Dorothy Brown,
14 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service celebrating Betty's life will be held at 11 AM Monday March 13, 2017 at the Culbertson Baptist Church(4007 Grant Line Road) with private burial. Visitation will be from 12 Noon - 6 PM Sunday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville(1846 E. Oak St.) and from 10 - 11 AM Monday at the church before the service.
Memorial Contributions: Culbertson Baptist Church or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
