Carol Ponder, 73, passed away Sunday May 13, 2018 at Jewish Hospital. She was the former Carol Stotts, born in Glasgow, KY., and was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Alma Stotts, her son, Kevin Snider and her daughter, Robin Bullard.
Carol was a very passionate person in her beliefs and was considered to be an "injustice fighter", including being a very strong animal rights activist among many other causes.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Schiedewitz and husband Jay; her sister, Phyllis Brown; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A celebration of Carol's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday May 19, 2018 at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville (1119 E. Market St.). Visitation will be from 3 - 8 p.m. Friday and from 12 - 2 p.m. Saturday before the service.
