Daniel K. Sanders Daniel K. Sanders, 68, longtime resident of Jeffersonville, IN, formerly of Monroe, IN, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born on April 11, 1950 in Monroe, Indiana, the son of Kenneth and Bessie (Hamrick) Sanders.

He was a graduate of Adam Central High School and was also a 1973 graduate of Purdue University School of Pharmacy. He worked for Taylor Drugs and Rite Aid Pharmacy, both located in Jeffersonville IN, for 45 years.

Daniel enjoyed gardening, fishing and was an avid fan of the Purdue Boilermakers.

He is survived by his wife, Patti E. Sanders of Jeffersonville; one son, Bradley William (Carrie) Myers of Scottsdale, AZ, twin grandsons Ford & Tucker Myers; his mother Bessie L. Sanders, Berne; 2 sisters, Julie (Myron) DeArmond of Decatur and Sandy Rushforth (Tom) El Dorado CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth P. Sanders.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Haggrd-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with visitation prior from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Ray Cemetery in rural Monroe.

Dan was a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor. Always a joy to be with. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Though we have not known Dan for a long time he was a very nice man and wish we could have spent more time with him. Our prayers are with all his family and friends.
