Dorothy E. Sampson Copler


Dorothy E. Sampson Copler, 91, of New Albany, passed away Sunday at Baptist Health Floyd. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John K. Sampson and her husband of nine years, Donald Copler. She was the owner of Chicken House Antiques & Collectables and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was a lifelong active member of Advent Christian Church in New Albany.
Survivors include her daughters Cindy Brady, Suzanne Canter (John), Marcia St. John (Dan) and Lisa Bline (Danny); sisters Glenda Hoffman and Faye Gregory and brother Dwight Smith (Brenda); grandchildren Amy (Richard), Sean (Rachel), Earl (Jodi), Melissa, Noel (Ross), Lauren (Monica), Angelica and Samuel as well as 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandsons.
Visitation, 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Friday at Market Street Chapel of Naville and Seabrook Funeral Homes. Interment: Krafat-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana. Expressions:, Advent Christian Church in New Albany.
