Hali Danae Conrad, 22, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of New Albany, passed away as a result of an automobile accident on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was a 2012 graduate of New Albany High School where she was an active member in the choir. Hali was studying fashion design at the Art Institute of Indianapolis and was an employee at Lincoln Square Pancake House. She was full of personality and spirit, never meeting a stranger and always living each day to the fullest.
She was born on August 9, 1994 in New Albany to Traci Conrad and Michael Burgess. Along with her parents, Hali is survived by her brother, Jaden Conrad; half-siblings, Brandon Marlin, Sydney Burgess; grandmothers, Brenda House, Deborah Carter, Bonnie Conrad; uncles, Brandon Conrad, Carlos Rowan; aunt, Kimberly Dale; and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Terry Conrad.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 6 p.m. Cremation will follow according to Hali's wishes.
The family requests that contributions in her memory may be made to the Performing Arts Department at New Albany High School (1020 Vincennes Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
