James Rollie's Story
Funeral services for James Rollie Hack, 79, of Charlestown, IN, will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8 PM and on Tuesday from 9-12 AM at the funeral home. He passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at his home.
Rollie was born on March 7, 1938 in Little Bend, KY to the late Archie Hack and Pauline Ackerman. He was retired from General Electric in Louisville and had a passion for old VW Bugs. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dan Hack; and two brothers, Tommy Hack and Jerry Hack.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Etta Faye Hack; two sons, Jim Hack and his wife Jannean; Tim Hack; a brother, Larry Hack and his wife Dorothy; a sister, Carol Fletcher and her husband Bob; three grandchildren, Janie Stewart and her husband Jim; Danny Hack and his wife Crystal; Timothy Fugit; and six great grandchildren, Emilee Stewart, Bradley Hack, Cody Hack, Austin Hack, Skylan Dare, and Avery Dare.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
