Lenda Lou "Ison" Davis, 72, of Charlestown, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Norton Hospice Inpatient, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Lenda was born on September 22, 1946, to Granville and Martha (Miller) Ison. She was a retired executive secretary for ICI Americas in Charlestown, IN. Lenda is preceded in death by her parents and sister Glenna Bodkin.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ronald E. Davis; brother, Rollo Ison; sisters, Brenda "Bennie" Petters (Kevin) and Sandy Ottman; step-sons, Bryan Davis (Pam), Jeff Davis (Stephanie), and Neal Davis (Shana); grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, Aidan, Camden and Nolan; and several special nieces and nephews.
Lenda was always on the move, she loved her weekly visits to the Charlestown A & E center to sing and play guitar. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Charlestown and sang in the choir, a member of the Corydon Dulcimer Society, Charlestown Garden Club, Motet Singers and BETA Epsilon. Lenda enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, knitting, crocheting, and quilting.
Funeral services for Lenda (Ison) Davis will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 4pm until 8pm, also at the funeral home and again on Wednesday from 9am until the funeral hour.

Lenda was so much fun! Such a delight every time we seen each other. She was a heck of a baker as well! One year she made pumpkin pie from scratch and it was the best I've ever tasted! Always looking good from head to toe, she had the cutest jewelry, purses and clothes. She's the best dressed Angel in Heaven for sure!! Love you, Lenda!
