Letha M. (Ashabranner) Andres, 92 years of age died Thursday August 24, 2017 at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born December 26, 1924 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William and Stella (Bunch) Ashabranner. Letha was a retired seamstress from M. Fine and Sons in New Albany and was a founding member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Cletus "Bud" Andres; grandson, Owen Boutelle; siblings, William Ashabranner, Stella Hancock, Richard Ashabranner, Cleo Prectel, Martha Dempsey, and Gerald Ashabranner.
Survivors include her children, Ronald Andres (Phyllis), Robert Andres (Rita), Michael Andres, Douglas Andres (Connie), Donald Andres, Claudia Boutelle Dunkley (Steve); grandchildren, Julie Giovenco, Jodie Parsons, Jenifer Kraft, Chris Andres, Nick Andres, Matt Andres, Katie Dillman, Ron Boutelle, Jr., Jason Boutelle; 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
The family requests expressions of sympathy to go to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or Alzheimer's Association.
