Madge Louise Highfill, 94 years young, formerly of New Albany, Indiana entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2017 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, Indiana.
She was born in Riddle, Indiana on July 28, 1922 to Ray T. Brown and Etta (Long) Brown.
Madge married Paul Edward Highfill on July 9, 1941 and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2002.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son as a child, Terry Martin Highfill and one brother, James "Robert" Brown.
Madge was a life-long member of the Riddle United Methodist Church in Riddle, Indiana and also attended the Silver Street United Methodist Church in New Albany. She was a florist for many years and also a caregiver.
A funeral ceremony will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 1 p.m. by Rev. Doug Finney at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel in French Lick, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Riddle Church Cemetery in Riddle, Indiana.
Friends may call Wednesday, March 15, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service in French Lick
