Michael J. OConnor Michael J. O'Connor, 61 years of age passed away peacefully Saturday November 3, with his family by his side at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born October 28, 1957 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Michael and May (Maher) O'Connor and was formerly Clark Maritime Director for the Port of Indiana in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Michael was a devout Catholic who loved his wife and family. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include wife of 32 years Anne (Monsanson) O'Connor and four children; Keegan O'Connor (Kaitlyn), Sean, Brian and Emma O'Connor and grandson Finn O'Connor. Also a sister Deidre O'Connor.
Memorial reception 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel. Expressions of sympathy to: the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Very sorry to hear this news. I have such great memories of Mike when we were young. What a wonderful laugh and sense of humor, he will be missed.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mike, he was and still is one of my favorite people. I enjoyed working for Mike more than anyone I have ever worked for., he always made me smile even in the worst of times. My prayers are with his family and friends, we lost a good one.

So sorry to hear about poor Michael,too young to go,we had great memories of Michael and Anne,calling to see us shortly after their marriage,a long time ago,again so sorry,anne and children,god has him and will keep him safe,x god bless you all.
