Richard Dale Crum A Celebration of Life service for Richard Dale Crum, 76, Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12-3 p.m. He passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at his home.
Richard was born on November 25, 1942 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Marvin and Marcia Crum. He was a real estate appraiser by trade and owner of Crums Auction & Realty Inc., and Super Self Storage LLC in Jeffersonville. Richard loved traveling and cruising different places around the world.
He is survived by three children, Katherine Daven (Morgan), Richard Douglas Crum (Barbara), Lincoln Crum (Lisa); his companion, Jan Paddocks; a niece, Laura Downs; a nephew, Glen Downs; his aunt, Anna Mae Wilson; five grandchildren, Sam, Maddie, Dion, Clinton, Lindsay; and four great- grandchildren, Erin, Declan, Noah and McKenzie.

We shared 4-H camp for many years. Richard was a true friend that I could count on. We also shared Rotary in latter years.

When I was a young teenager, Richard would pick me up and I would help him mop and wax the floor at Penny's.
He was a fine person, and I am sorry to hear this news.
