My most sincere sympathy to all of Corky's
Family.,i have know him since his Mother bought my Grandmother's house on McTavish Dr.
He and my late husband were good friends ,George always thought a lot of Corky as did my Sons Buddy and Tony .
Corky was a kind hearted man ,always willing to help when needed.
I have a funny story to share about Corky...
He outran the Police one night ending up on our empty lot on McTavish Dr. Leaving his car he ran to our house on Johnson Ln.
My husband had a 47 Ford Pick Up
( the Pink Panther ). It was lowered almost to the ground , Corky was a pretty big guy back then , we woke up to Police with Flash Lights in our yard ( looking for Corky ) our dog Beau
...( who never cared much for Corky)
Kept barking and going around the Truck ...
I finally put him in the house ( had to nearly drag him in ). The Police left we went in and after a while there was a knock on the door
It was Corky ! He was hiding under the Truck....George and I ....Corky too ,could not believe he got under it...he said he was going to holler for George to come help him out. Lol............ but he made it out in about 15 minutes...
And he said he thought Beau was trying to alert the Police were he was ! Lol
This story has been told many times through the years by George, Corky, my Sons, Corkys brothers and others and
gotten many laughs and disbelief's . LOL
Corky will certainly be Missed by Many !
