Ruth Marie (Fougerousse)'s Story
Ruth Marie (Fougerousse) Morgan , 92 years of age passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Cincinnati, OH. She was born October 15, 1925 in New Albany, IN to the late Arthur Sr. and Alma (Nance) Fougerousse. She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic Grade School and New Albany High School, and was a bank teller at Floyd County Bank and Citizens Fidelity Bank in Louisville. Her husband was the late Jack F. Morgan, of the Morgan Tailor Shop and Seinsheimer's both in New Albany. Ruth had lived in Cincinnati, OH with her only daughter Leigh Ann Morgan and was an avid sports fan, loved to travel, enjoyed the symphony and art museums, and was fond of wearing a nice hat.
She is survived by her daughter Leigh Ann Morgan, her sister Janet Paris, and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur Jr. and James Fougerousse, and her sisters, Jean White and Mary Catherine Fougerousse.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 415 E. 8th Street, New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
