William "Bill"'s Story
William "Bill" Taylor Fouts, son of the late Ira and Pearl Fouts, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the age of 96.
He was a graduate of New Washington High School, a WWII Army Veteran and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He was a dairy farmer for over 40 years. In his retirement, he loved playing golf and spending time with his family.
William was preceded in death by his infant daughter Sandra; two brothers and their wives John (Dolly) Fouts and Oscar (Mary) Fouts; sisters and their husbands Viola (Cap) Hardy and Addie (Wesley) Stoner.
He is survived by his wife Erma (Knoerr) Fouts whom he married on May 6, 1942; his son Stephen (Jackie) Fouts; his daughter Patty (Gary) Jackson; seven grandchildren Nathan (Amy) Fouts, Sam (Liz) Fouts, Michael (Nikki) Jackson, Elizabeth (Jon) Coulter, David (Preston) Fouts, Christopher (Sylvia) Jackson and Sarah Jackson; 12 great-grandchildren Ezra, Aaron, Lilly, Jack, Haley, Annabelle, Liam, James, Clark, Pierce, Levi and McKenzie.
The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to the staff of Fresenius Dialysis Clarksville for the love and life sustaining care given to Bill for the last nine years.
Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home.
