William James Reagan, 88, passed away Friday December 22, 2017 at Hosparus in Louisville, KY. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army during The Korean War. He worked at Commonwealth Life Insurance Company, as an accountant, for 35 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Optimist Club, and The Filson Historical Society. He graduated from Flaget High School and The University of Louisville.
He is survived by his daughters Kathleen M. Russ and her husband Scott of Sellersburg, IN and Susan M. Monihon and her husband John of Charlestown, IN; his son Paul Joseph Reagan of Louisville, KY; his brother Joseph Reagan of Brentwood, TN; his grandchildren Shawna, Jamie, Ty, Patrick, Benjamin, Kyle, and Taylor; Along with 14 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Joyce Reagan; his son James P. Reagan; his grandson Nathaniel Reagan.
A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
