Arlie Thomas Ray age 67, passed away on January 23 at Norton Hospital.
Arlie was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 21, 1948 to the late Francis Elizabeth Robinson and Arlie Thomas Ray. In life, Arlie was a veteran who served in the Korean War and also worked as a corrections officer. Arlie was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the St. James Victory Temple Church of God in Christ.
Left to mourn in passing is his loving wife, Elcie Marie Ray; sons, Deshawn Ray, Michael Pasley, Darnell Pasley, and Antony Pasley; daughters, Terrestann Pruitt, Arletta Pruitt, Katrina Blakely, Kasonia Moore, and Lashay Barbee; brothers, Bishop Barbee, Floyd Mickens, and Jim Mickens; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Arlie is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Robinson and Arlie Ray Sr.; son, Paul Pruitt; and sister, Jean Hampton.
Visitation for Arlie will be held at St. James Victory Temple Church of God in Christ on Tuesday, January 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. Arlie will then be buried at Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery in Radcliff, Kentucky on February 1.
