In retirement, he continued on with his passion for hanging out with his granddaughters, tinkering with gadgets, gardening, motorcycling, bowling, traveling with his wife Beverly, collecting eclectic art pieces and most recently he developed a passion for helping children by mentoring middle school students locally.
