Francis W. Zollman, 93, passed away on February 2, 2017 at Autumn Woods Health Center in New Albany, Indiana. He was born May 18, 1923 in Lanesville, Indiana to Herman P. and Leora Ellwanger Zollman, who preceded him in death.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lanesville. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Signal Corps in New Guinea and the Philippine Islands. He was a watchmaker, owned Leist & Sons Jewelers, and retired as Assistant Cashier at the Farmers State Bank, Lanesville after twenty years.
He is survived by his wife Pauline Schoen Zollman, daughters Nancy Mohr, Albequerque, NM; Eileen (William) Seymer, New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Emily Mohr, Sara Mohr, Jennifer (Mark) Bobo, John Seymer and sister Pauline Carr.
Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 6 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lanesville. Visitation will be at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon on Sunday, Feb.5, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
The family suggest memorial gifts be given to his church.
