Glenda Galusha McCollum, age 74, passed peacefully in Louisville, KY on Wednesday March 2nd, 2017.
Born January 12th, 1943 in Eddyville, KY to parents Paul Ovil Galusha and Ethelene Lynn Galusha (Bloodworth).
She spent her younger years playing softball, pitching from the mound in many parks located in Louisville, KY. A true hobby that put a smile on her face.
She was a licensed cosmetologist who enjoyed beautifying her clients. She grew close to many of them over the years.
An avid horse lover, she loved betting the ponies; especially the Grey ones! Her beloved friend, Carol and her spent many Sunday's sharing laughs and studying programs.
She loved her animals second to none, they were her companions. A devoted animal lover with compassion for all animals.
Her love of UK basketball brought her lots of joy, a true dedicated fan.
Recognized by her smile, she was truly a sweet selfless woman in such a tiny package. Always putting others in front of her own needs.
Glenda was preceded in death by both parents, Paul and Lynn, and one son Paul Timothy Grant (Timmy).
She is survived by sons: Jeffrie Grant, Randall Grant, James McCollum, and one daughter Jessica McCollum. Also, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Special Thanks to the team of doctors who provided her with care during her sickness. She was very thankful to them all.
Following her wishes, no memorial service shall follow. She will be cremated and ashes will be set free along with ashes from her beloved Pekingese Nekita on Kentucky Lake. Her remaining ashes will be mounted on her fathers gravesite in Rolling Hills cemetery.
