Gloria's Story

Gloria A. Ouzts, 70 of Clarksville, IN passed away quietly in her sleep on Friday morning, May 26, 2017 at her home.
Born May 25, 1947 in Jeffersonville, IN, she is the daughter of Josie (Basham) Ouzts.
Gloria lovingly cared for her mother and visited daily with her younger brother Mike. She had a fondness for all animals and loved her animal companions dearly; Brody, Dr. Watson, and Orange Blossom. Gloria was a member and Deacon of New Beginnings Church. She enjoyed collecting coca cola memorabilia, swimming and was a whiz at video games.
Survivor siblings include, Marie Vest. (Bruce) Kulmer of Mission Video, CA, Robert C. Vest of Cibalo, TX, Michael Gordon Ouzts of Clarksville, IN, half-sister, Nancy (Bill) Nesmith of Fredericksburg, IN, and half-brother, Jack Vest, Salem, IN, close cousins, Tom Basham of Lincoln, Texas, Sharon Basham of New Albany, IN, Donna Hoffer of Henryville, IN. Gloria will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, with burial to follow at Forrest Grove Cemetery.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 10:00AM on Friday, both at the funeral home in Henryville, IN.
Memorial donations may be given to Clark County Humane Society c/o Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 209 S. Ferguson St., Henryville, IN. Online condolences may be given to the family at www.adamsfuneralhomeonline.com.
