Jean M. Ingle, 87, passed away Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. She was the former Jean A. Reising and was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, Indiana. Jean retired from the New Albany Floyd Couny School Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Myrtle Reising, two sons: John E. and Allen Ingle and a daughter: Phyllis Lee Ingle.
Survivors include: eight sons, Gerald "Pete" Hardsaw, Stephen M. Ingle, Lawrence G. Ingle, Robert P. Ingle, Gordon D. Ingle, Brian "Davy" Ingle, Kerry W. Ingle, and Donald R. Ingle; five daughters, Gloria Lynne Caudill, Valerie A. "Tay" Henderson, Donna M. McMahan, Renne' M. "Nay" Dismore, and Duwanna "Wannie" Ingle; her brother, Louis M. Reising; 32 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service celebrating Jean's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday April 7, 2017 at the First Assembly of God Church in New Albany with private burial.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville (1119 E. Market St.) and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
Memorial Gifts may be given to The Disabled American Veterans or The Wounded Warrior Project.
