Ralph Joseph Graf, 86 years of age passed Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born October 2, 1930 in Clark County, Indiana to the late Albert and Anna Eckert Graf. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired after 44 years from Henry Vogt Machine Company. He was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, was an avid gardener, golfer, and card player. Along with his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his stepmother, Dorothy Kleehammer Graf McDaniel; siblings, Sister Mary Mark Graf, OSB; Mark Anthony "Bud" Graf, Martha Graf Rake, James P. Graf, and Dennis Graf.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Alma Kruer Graf; daughters, Lisa Winter (Jeff), Janice Preuss (Dr. H. Fred); grandchildren, Benjamin Winter and Anne Carole Preuss; siblings, Elmer Graf (Jane), Cletus Graf (Ann), Sister Dorothy Graf, OSB; Alvin Graf (Linda), Alice Graf, Larry Graf; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 12 noon until 6 p.m. Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Knobs Chapel, 3011 Martin Road, Floyds Knobs, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
