Ronald Wilbert Stotts, 70, entered eternal life during the afternoon hours of Monday, July 31, 2017 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on May 23, 1947 to the late Wilbert and Jessaphine (Thurman) Stotts in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Mr. Stotts was a 1965 graduate of Clarksville High School, later becoming an Alum of Lindsey Wilson College and Western Kentucky University. He was a long time employee of Citation Pressure Washing, co-owner of Mid South Pressure Washing and Breeding Community Grocery. Mr. Stotts was a member of the United States Army Reserves and the number one UK fan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Stotts and his sister, Alma Neff.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Debbie Stotts of Lexington, Indiana; his son, Eric Stotts of Salem, Indiana; his stepson, Roy (Jennifer) Hooe of Sellersburg, Indiana; his stepdaughter, Tammie (Charles) Pellman of Elizabeth, Indiana; grandchildren, Zane Stotts, Seth Hooe, Savannah Hooe, Jonathan Knight, Charles Pellman Jr., Stanton Hooe, and Tyshae Douglas. Mr. Stotts also leaves behind his great-grandson, Jaxon Hooe.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.. on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home pm Friday.
