William "Bill" Miller, 74, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Baptist Floyd Health, New Albany. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam, retired from American Commercial Lines and was a member of the Jeffersonville Elks Club. Bill was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrus and Frances Miller.
Surviving are, wife, Diana Deckard Miller, Sellersburg; daughters, Valerie (Brandon) Lucas, Louisville, Kimberly Miller, Nashville, Tennessee; stepsons, Eric Deckard, New Salisbury, Clayton Deckard, Sellersburg; brothers, Clinton (Bonnie) Miller, Brentwood, Tennessee, Tommy (Linda) Miller, Elizabethtown, Kentucky; grandchildren, Nate Lucas, Levi Lucas, John Trent Lucas, Chase Deckard, Lucas Deckard and Grayson Deckard.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with cremation to follow. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. and anytime after 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, June 10.
