Aaron Russell Elrod, age 36, of Henryville, IN passed away on August 14, 2023 at the Norton Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY. He was born on August 21, 1986, in Louisville, KY, and was the beloved owner and operator of Aaron's Plumbing, a business he founded in 2012.

Aaron's journey began on August 21, 1986, in Louisville, KY, and his zest for life was evident from a young age. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 2005 and went on to pursue his passion for mechanics. He attended Prosser to become a diesel mechanic and later worked at National as a skilled diesel mechanic.

An adventurous soul, Aaron found joy in various hobbies such as Go Cart racing, RC car racing, fishing, and anything with wheels and a steering wheel. He approached life with enthusiasm, a straightforward demeanor, and a strong work ethic. A dedicated University of Louisville fan, he cheered on his favorite team with unwavering support.

Aaron is survived by his loving grandmother, Juanita Ann (Jennings) Speer of Henryville; aunts, Marlene Elrod and Diane Speer, both of Henryville; Uncle John L. (Ann Marie) Elrod of Henryville; his only cousin, Marcus (Brandi) Elrod; and two great-cousins, Jasmine Elrod and Tristian Snell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Ann (Elrod) Stephens; his grandfather, John L. Elrod; step-grandfather, Fred H. Speer; and Uncle Melvin Elrod.

Funeral services will be held in honor of Aaron on Monday, August 21, 2023, at 7 p.m., at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Henryville. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on the same day from 5 until 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

The burial of Aaron's cremains will take place at a later date at Mt. Zion Cemetery, where he will find eternal rest. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Adams Funeral Homes & Crematory.
