Otisco, Indiana - Alan R. Lescrynski, 69, died unexpectedly October 9, 2025. He was born November 3, 1955 at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut, the son of Stephen and Fern E. Lescrynski.
Alan graduated from Newtown High School, Class of 1974. Alan was employed with the Town of Newtown and was a volunteer service member at Sandy Hook Fire Department and active with his community for many years until relocating to Otisco, Indiana with his wife, Isabelle in 2011, where he was currently employed with Dan Christiani Excavating in Charlestown, Indiana, and owns a horse farm. Alan was a compassionate lover of horses, dogs and cats.
In addition to his parents. he was predeceased by his brothers Richard and Stephen. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle, stepdaughter Jessica, sisters Anita L. Canfield and Linda A. Peck of Connecticut and godchild Melissa Bell of North Carolina.
A service of remembrance will be held on a future date. Those who wish to remember Alan may make donations in his memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
