Starlight, Indiana - Alfred Francis Schmidt, a beloved member of the Starlight community and a devoted family man, passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 92.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. His Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (Starlight) with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
