Bernice Dare Obituary
Bernice Dare, 86, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Nelda Miles of Louisville, KY and Doyce McBride of Corydon, IN; grandchildren, Shannon and Makayla Dare; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh P. Dare; her sons Hugh D. Dare and Jimmie Dare; brothers, Russel McGaha and Calvin McGaha; sisters, Tommie Martin, Eddith Tuttle, Lida Holt, and Ailine Wilson; and her parents, Curtis and Esther McGaha.
Cremation was chosen by the family and a private burial will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
