Corydon, Indiana - Betty Lou (Engleman) Bennett died 2/28/26 at the age of 86. She is proceeded in death by her husband-Floyd (Bud) Bennett, son-Larry W Bennett. Parents-Hershel and Viola (Scott) Engleman and her brothers- Melvin (Deloris), Richard and Jerald. She is survived by her sister-in-laws: Joann Engleman, Juanita Engleman, Charlotte Bennett, Ann Bennett and brother-in-law-Michael Bennett.

Surviving Children are Pamela (David Martin and Mark (David Bennett. She was passionate about her grandchildren and greatgrands. Brent (Stacy) Martin, Douglas (Liz) Martin, and Rachel (Brandon) Dunaway. Great-grandchildren: Addison, Benjamin, Louie, Henry, Henley, Braycen, Jack and Molly.

Betty was a homemaker who also started the Hallmark Card Shop in Cordon. She entertained many with her piano playing by ear and was a novolist home decorator. She along with Bud enjoyed remodeling Cedar Glade for the Bellermine Holiday Home Tour in

1999. An avid shopper whose theme song was On the Road Again" by Willie Nelson.

Special thanks to the care givers at Harrison Springs, Autumn Woods, and Southern Care as well as her continued caregivers Barbara Best and Cindy Daily. Her visitors- Carolyn Hoffman, Sue Oppel, Sandra Uhl, Mark and Cheryl Davidson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Friday, March 6, 2026, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford, IN. Father Aaron Pfaff will be the Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon, IN. Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN and again on Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church.
