Betty C. White, age 56, from New Albany, Indiana, passed away Friday May 31 2019. She was born August 24, 1962 to the late Shelby Byerley. Left to mourn her passing is her loving mother Geneva Martin Collins; her companion of the last 30 years James Taylor; and her bonus mom Rita Byerley.
Betty loved crocheting and reading in her spare time. Besides Betty's mother she leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving daughter, Jessica Lakin; two sisters, Eva Buckel and Tenia Reid; one granddaughter, Isabella Elliott; her four step sisters and one step brother and many family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday June 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Her funeral service is Wednesday, June 5, at Noon at The Spring Valley Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations may be made to Spring Valley Funeral Home.
