Funeral services for Bill Barrett, 59, Henryville, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory, Henryville, with burial to follow at Mt Zion Cemetery. He passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Norton Hospital, Louisville.

Born Dec. 23, 1956, in Scottsburg, he was the son Grover Barrett and Lillian (Olinger) Greenly who are both deceased.

Bill was self-employed, owned, and operated C & B Insulation with his son in law Chism. He attended Victory Baptist Church in Sellersburg. Bill enjoyed music, traveling, looking at lighthouses, loved people, children, and especially spending time with his grandchildren who were the light of his life.

Bill married Liz (Reece) Barrett on May 23, 1980.

Survivors include his loving wife, Liz, of 36 years, Henryville; two daughters, Josetta (Chism) Hardesty, Underwood and Jacinda Barrett, Henryville; three grandchildren, Mesa Hardesty, Underwood, Kylie and Keagon Barrett, Henryville; siblings, Jim (Janet) Barrett, Charlestown, Rick (Becky) Barrett, Minnesota, John (Ginger) Barrett, Pensacola, Fla., Barbara (Fred) Branstetter, Jeffersonville, and Karen Schneider, Henryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald Barrett and David Barrett; and two sisters, Kathy Boldt and Dorothy Adams.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 12 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be given to Victory Baptist Church or Henryville Elementary PTO, c/o Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 209 S. Ferguson St., Henryville, IN 47126.
