Sellersburg, Indiana - Bonnie Lee Walton, 83, of Jeffersonville, IN, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at The Villages at Historic Silvercrest. Born on March 2, 1943, she was the cherished daughter of the late Bradford Harold and Charlotte Mae Bullock.

Bonnie was a woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures. Every spring, she eagerly anticipated the return of the hummingbirds, watching for them with the same warmth she brought to everything she did. She possessed a sharp mind for puzzles, a talent for cooking, and a vibrant spirit that loved a good trip to the casino to test her luck. Above all else, her heart belonged to her family, and she poured boundless love into her role as a grandmother.

Her legacy lives on through her devoted sons, Charles Baker (Linda) and Russ Baker (Donna); her sister, Beverley Pugh; and her brother, Bradford "Butch" Bullock (Cindy). She will be forever missed by her beloved grandchildren, Olivia Baker and Aaron Baker (Laken).

Bonnie is now reunited with her husbands, William Dearry and Donald Walton; her parents; and her sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Wilkins, who preceded her in death.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude and a special thank you to the staff at The Villages of Historic Silvercrest. Thank you for the wonderful, compassionate care and support you have shown Bonnie and her family throughout the 10 years she called Silvercrest home.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow at Eastern Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at the Funeral Home.
