Jeffersonville, IN - Bradford "Lee" (Pop) Stewart Jr., age 89, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, was called home on Monday, May 19, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, with his loving family by his side.

Lee was born on August 9, 1935, in Kentucky to the late Bradford Stewart Sr. and Margaret Luckey Stewart. A hardworking and dedicated man, Lee retired from Rhone-Poulenc (formerly Celanese) in Louisville after over 30 years of faithful service.

A devoted member of First Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Lee lived his life grounded in faith, family, and community. He also gave his time and heart as a coach for Clarksville Little League, mentoring countless young athletes over the years.

Lee was a passionate sports fan—he cheered faithfully for the Kentucky Wildcats and the Cincinnati Reds. He also found great joy on the golf course, enjoying the game with friends and family whenever he could. Lee loved doing crossword puzzles. He and Shirley also loved camping/traveling all over the country (and Canada) with friends and family.

Above all, Lee deeply loved his family. He especially treasured supporting his grandchildren, rarely missing a game or event, always their biggest fan from the stands.

Lee's legacy of dedication, encouragement, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents Lee was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Ellen Stewart. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Shirley Stewart; daughters, Margaret "Faye" Jones(Matthew), Grace "Lynn" Howerton(Dan); sons, Bruce Lee Stewart(Paige), William "Brian" Stewart(Melissa); brothers, Bill Stewart(Monika), Donald Stewart(Bonnie); along with 13 grandchildren, Bradley(Katharine), Nick(Raine), Jon(Laurel), Kelsey(Alan), Christina, Steven, Brittanie(Kshitiz), Katie, Faith, Christian, Shelby(Ben), Zach, Eric, Aiden and 12 great grandchildren with one on the way.
