Jeffersonville, Indiana - Bruce Moore, 73, passed away on June 7, 2026, at Norton Clark Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Bruce was born on August 9, 1952, in Madison, IN, to his parents Ambrose and India Moore. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Bruce dedicated 50 years of hard work and commitment to C.L. McBride, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.

Bruce had a passion for drag racing and loved spending time cruising with his family. He took great pride in his beloved 1963 and 1966 Ford Fairlanes and enjoyed countless adventures with those he loved most. He was also a devoted dog owner and cherished his Great Dane, Penny.

Above all, Bruce was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 37 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Vicki Benton Moore. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Ambrose and India Moore, and his brother, Donnie Moore.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Vicki Benton Moore; his sons, Jamie Crotchett and Brad Benton (Emily); his grandchildren, Bradley Benton (Kayla), Delaney Benton (Morgan), Blake Benton, and Charleigh Cook; his great-grandson, Beckham Benton; his brother, Dwight Moore (Dana); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Bruce's legacy of love, dedication, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
