Carol Gohmann Whelan, 88, passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of February 18, 2025.

A third-generation resident of Silver Hills in New Albany, Carol spent her last days surrounded by the home and family memories she loved so much.

Carol is survived by her loving daughter, Laura Whelan Whitus (Tom); cousins, nieces, nephews, and a myriad of old and new friends.

Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with her funeral service to be in the Kraft Chapel at 2 p.m. A private entombment will be held at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
