New Albany, Indiana - Carolyn F. Stewart, 84, passed away Wednesday May 13, 2026 at the Traditions of Hunter Station. She was born in Louisville, KY. to the late Carolyn and George Wesbecker. She was an Administrative Assistant for several years for Dr. Harold Blevins. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where was very active with the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and she was an active member of the Southern Indiana Quilt Guild.

Besides her parents: Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: Richard J. Stewart, her sisters: Dorothy Graf and Joann Throckmorton and her brother: Carl Wesbecker.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter: Teri L. Blackman(Ben), her son: Richard M. Stewart(Stephanie), her sister: Pauletta Miles(David), and her grandchildren: Isaac Blackman(Ryn), Renee Stewart(Madelyn), Aaron Blackman, Emily Blackman and Colleen Stewart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Saturday May 23, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church(1752 Scheller Ln.) with burial in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market St.) from 1 - 8 PM Friday May 22, 2026.

Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or the WHAS Crusade for Children.
