Charlotte A. Marra
Charlotte A. Marra, 84, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. She valued her family time more than anything. She was a devout Catholic. Her exemplary faith brought her through the best and worst of times. It was her unique sense of humor and larger than life laughter that will continue to reside in all the lives she touched along the way, and there were many.
Charlotte was born in Paris, IL and spent the last 20 years of her life in Sellersburg, IN surrounded by a plethora of redbirds that visited her daily. Before her illness, Charlotte contributed to the soup kitchen and reading to the elderly. She enjoyed a good card game with friends and celebrated her life with many friendships across the miles and years.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael P. Marra Jr.; son Jeff Englum, Indianapolis; daughters Jennifer Wolf (Mike), Milwaukee, WI., Jill Morehead (Luke), Noblesville, IN., Jamie Kelly (Dan), Terre Haute, IN., Jessica Badgley (Forrest), Northbrook, IL. and Kristy Pavlata (Paul), Whitestown, IN.; grandchildren Christian Englum, Madison Morehead, Abigail Morehead, Charles Aubin, Elle Marie Aubin, Penelope Badgley, Joseph Morehead, Natalie Eisenman and Maxine Badgley.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents William and Ellen Carnahan; brother Michael Carnahan; sister Barbara Jean Carnahan.
Celebration of life Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church located at 315 E. Chestnut Street, Jeffersonville. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church.

Char was a very important woman in my 20's and forward. Her laughter, outlook, faith, love was a wonderful example for me. She gave me a family to love like cousins. She is in everyone of her children. From Jeff to Jenn, Jill, Jamie and Jess.
I will always have my wonderful memories of Charlotte. I am forever grateful for your love, mothering, and family you brought to this Indiana girl
Rest in Peace Char,
Kelli
