Clara Ellen Swallows
Clara Ellen Swallows, 75, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on October, 30, 2019. She loved life to the fullest and was a wonderful person who could bring a smile to your face. Clara enjoyed traveling, watching sunsets and spending time with her family and friends. Clara's passion was love of animals and nature. She shared her knowledge and wisdom as an inspiration to all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Ellen Swallows; sisters, Patty Colglazier and Joyce Farris and brothers, Edward Swallows and Bobby Swallows.

Clara is survived by her sisters, Arlene Bottorff and Rena (Bob) Striegel; brother, Harvey Swallows and numerous, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

A gathering for Clara will be Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Falls of the Ohio, 201 W. Riverside Drive, Clarksville, IN 47129, from 4pm-6pm with a celebration of Clara's life beginning at 6pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to Falls of the Ohio Foundation, 201 W. Riverside Drive, Clarksville, IN 47125.

While being instructed in one of her classes I asked her if she would please Clara fy the problem and she liked the way I asked her. She immediately understood what I had said. She used that expression for years.
Clara had a special place in my heart and always will. She will be missed.
