Jeffersonville, Indiana - David Lee Knight, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at home. He was born on August 23, 1942 in Jeffersonville, to the late Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Knight.

David, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, was a lifelong Catholic and devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a mail carrier for the USPS his entire career. David enjoyed walking, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, RoseAnn Knight of Jeffersonville; son, John Knight (Sarah) of Greenwood; daughters, Cathy Knight of Jasper, Lisa Boone (Bobby) of Jeffersonville, and Lee Ann Knight of Shelbyville, IN; sisters, Jacqueline Thomas (Joe) of Floyds Knobs, Teresa Popp (Dale) of Jeffersonville, and Karen Lovan (Phil) of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Taylor, Jacob, Elizabeth, Nick, Isaac, Allison, Ben, Devin, Morgan, Kieran, Haley, and Maddie; great-grandchildren, Eloise and Natalie.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Knight; infant son, Thomas Knight; brothers, Charles Knight and Thomas Knight Jr.; and his parents.

Memorial Mass will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow.
