New Albany, Indiana - David L. Wright, 71, of New Albany passed away May 14th, 2026, at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany. He was born in New Albany to the late Hubert and Dolores (Baxter) Wright. David was a member of Graceland Baptist Church. David was an employee of Rauch Industries in New Albany and enjoyed bowling as a hobby. He loved to travel and was an avid fan of music and enjoyed dancing.

He is survived by his sister Kaye Cunningham; his nephew Matthew Gilley and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 10 AM - 1 PM on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1846 E. Oak St. New Albany, IN).

His funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday in the Oak Street Chapel with burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
