Donnie Rosenberger passed away peacefully at his home in Clarksville surrounded by family early on Monday morning, November 1. Donnie was the oldest son of Joseph and Eleanor Rosenberger.
He was a 44-year retiree of Waukesha Cherry-Burrell. An avid Indiana fan, sportsman, hunter, and fisherman, he coached youth sports for 30 years, and was a recipient of the St. John Bosco award. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's and devout Catholic. He had two sons, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his wry wit, humor, and love of family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Poulter); father, Joseph; mother, Eleanor (Peay); brother, Larry; sister-in-law, Mary; niece, Kathleen; and nephew, Kent.
He is survived by his sister, Elaine Blunk (Bob); sons, Mike and Brian; grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, AJ, Jacob, and Briana, Kyle (Mackenzie), Paige (Kyle), Nicholas, and Jeremy; and great-grandchildren, Liyla, Charlotte, and Leander.
Visitation will be held on November 5 from 4-8 p.m. at Spring Valley Funeral Home in New Albany, with funeral services on November 6 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church of New Albany.
