Donald A. Walton age 75 of Salem, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017, at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Walton was born January 15, 1941 in Washington County, Indiana the son of Arthur R. and Magel Irene Johns Walton. He was an employee of Blue River Services for 25 years and also worked for the Washington County Highway Department and Salem Poultry. He was a member of Smedley Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, David Walton and his parents, Arthur and Magel Walton.
He is survived by three brothers, Ronald Walton of Salem, John Walton (Karen) of Sellersburg, and Dan Walton (Carol) of New Albany, three sisters, Rose Ann Roberts (Jim), Sharon Robinson (Cleveland) and Nancy Walton, all of Salem, and a sister-in-law, Freda Walton of Salem.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Smedley Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Smedley Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Weathers Funeral Home and Friday from 10 a.m. to time of service at the church.
