Donald R. Zollman, 71, of New Albany, IN, formerly of Henryville, IN, passed away at 5:30 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.

Born August 4, 1945 in Scottsburg, IN, he was the son of Floyd Zollman and Beatrice (Thompson) Zollman who have both preceded him in death.

Donald was a 1963 Henryville High School graduate, attended Indiana University Southeast, and served in the United States Air Force Reserve. He retired from National City Bank in Louisville, KY after 30 years of service and was currently employed at Nursery Supply in Louisville, KY as a sales manager.

He attended St. John Paul Catholic Church in Sellersburg, IN, was past president of the Henryville Band Boosters for 12 years, and a former Henryville Little League coach.

On February 6, 1966 in Sellersburg, IN, he married Harriet (Woods) Zollman who survives in New Albany, IN.

Other survivors include 2 children, Jason (Melissa) Zollman of Louisville, KY and Amy Zollman of Indianapolis, IN, 1 granddaughter, Emily Zollman of Louisville, KY, and 2 sisters, Inez Hardee of Henryville, IN and Mary Vannoy of New Albany, IN.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Russell Zollman, Forrest Zollman, George Petit, Clifford Zollman, Howard Zollman, Helen Bagshaw, Glenna Alsup, and David Zollman. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, with burial to follow at Mt Zion Cemetery.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 10:00AM on Thursday, both at the funeral home in Henryville, IN.
