Doris Jean Barth Jones, 82, of New Albany, IN passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024.
She was born in New Albany on September 23, 1942 and was a member of New Beginning Community Church. Her husband of 45 years was the late Jim Jones.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Douglas Scott Jones.
Doris is survived by a son, Michael C. Jones; grandchildren, Jared James Jones, Jacob John Henry Monroe Jones, Colt Jones, Boston Jones, Abigail Ann Jones; great-grandchildren, Mila Abigail Jones and Tatum Jones; and a dear niece who was like a sister, Donna Farnsley.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany.
Funeral service will be Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Home, Spring Street Chapel, with burial to follow in Martinsburg Cemetery.
