Elizabeth A. "Libby" (Hinton) Sage, 80, of Crothersville, IN passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022.

Libby was born February 12, 1941, in Jeffersonville, IN to Harry "Hupp" Hinton and Goldie (Hargshimer) Hinton.

Libby was a 1959 Silver Creek High School graduate. She was also a 1960 House of James Beauty College graduate.

On January 28, 1967 at Speed Church in Speed, IN, Libby married Lloyd C. Sage.

Libby was a hairdresser for 20-plus years. She enjoyed working with her sisters as a hairdresser at her sisters' beauty shop in Jeffersonville where they shared many memorable times with each other. She also worked as a cashier at Vic's Liquor Store in Seymour for 18 years. Libby was a member of Crothersville Christian Church and Crothersville Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading, word find puzzles, watching television, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors children, Melinda "Mindy" (Adam) Kriete of Scottsburg, IN, George Scott Sage of Crothersville, IN, and Elizabeth Diann (Michael) Clark of Dousman, WI; four granddaughters, Danielle Hill, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Clark, Lauren Marie Clark and Brittany Ann (A.J.) Young; four great -grandchildren, Sophia Combs, Kieran Combs, Wyatt Young, and Taylor Young; one sister, Linda Duckett of Jeffersonville, IN.

Libby was also preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Maryette McMahel, Gloria Schlosser, David Hinton, Butch Hinton and Janet Garrett.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday, Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 110 E. Howard Street, Crothersville, IN. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with burial in Cana Cemetery.
