Clarksville, Indiana - Elmer Henry Renn, age 93, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Friday morning, August 22, 2025. Born on September 3, 1931, in Sellersburg, he was the son of Edward and Katherine (Graf) Renn. Elmer proudly served his country in the United States Army and dedicated many years to his career at South Central Bell before retiring in 1989.

A devoted and active parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Elmer found great joy and fulfillment in his faith and community involvement. He was a loving husband and father, providing a strong foundation for his family throughout his life.

Elmer was preceded in death by his infant son, Keith Renn, and brothers, Julius, Herman, Richard, Fred, Frank and Cletus. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 70 years, Martina (Boesing) Renn, as well as his children Judy Kenney (Jim), Kevin Renn, Jeanette Elliott (Roger), and Kendra Renn. He took great pride in his family, which also includes grandchildren, Alex, Malia (Jeremiah), Alyssa (J), Lindsey (John), Haley, Keith, Paul and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Visitation will continue on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 N. Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville) with Elmer's funeral mass being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Hill Catholic Cemetery in Sellersburg.
